3 miles on the schedule for training so that’s what happened. It was freezing. Seconds thought about training for a half in the dead of winter… JK but seriously. My legs were stiff and frozen! Not my best but it is what it is 🙂

Drew and I went to Panera on NYE Day and we both got delish big kid grilled cheese and soup!

Before I went to bed I got in the hot tub! I’m so thankful that my parents have this cause my legs were super sore!

Yesterday after work at the gym, I just stayed to do a good Chest and Triceps workout from Live Fit trainer. Wow can you say jello arms! i’m dying today..so sore. I ended that with a 15 minutes interval workout on the
Stairsofdeath Stair mill!

This just happened to be a sad turkey sandwich! let’s just say I haven’t had much time at home this week. I’ve been coaching all day and going to work at night…would be nice to be home for a meal for once…I think tonight that may actually happen!
My go to snack in my lunches/dinners this week has been carrots, green peppers, and cheese slices! With ranch of course 🙂

A picture of ME going out for a run in my NEW shoes…the ones that I won from Lora’s Blog! They are AWESOME! Saucony Triumph 9- I really like this neutral shoe. They’re a little lighter than ones I’ve been running in and I can tell a difference. They are an 8mm drop, less than I’m used to, so I’m hoping they don’t bother my feet, but so far..so good!

Last BIG purchase:
This is a present to myself…a Lululemon cycling outfit…well it was on sale…haha and Sale by lulu’s standards isn’t exactly the same BUT it is the most amazing cycling clothing I’ve ever had on in my life! Cycling clothing is pretty expensive to begin with and I wanted a good quality outfit now that I spend a longer time out on the bike. Before I’ve pretty much bought the cheapest shorts I can buy and then wear a tank top or shirt. Now I’m LEGIT! And look how dang cute these purple shorts are.
Last Book I read:
Matched by Ally Condie! A good read..pretty quick, but found it was pretty enjoyable. It’s got a kind of futuristic United States kinda thing like The Hunger Games. Good beach read.
I made chicken with this brown rice and quinoa mix…first time having it and the stuff was delicious. If you can find it near you i suggest it. quite delicious.

This morning I could sleep til about 6:15 before I had to get up and get ready for work. COULD being a key word here.

Anyways…yesterday I spent a little too much money in the iTunes store. Whoops. But I needed some updated music for my runs…it’s been a little too long on that one and I am getting bored. I created this little playlist from there:
So, that’s what I’m listening to at the moment! (not to mention some country music I just bought. Josh Turner– I love you.) Some of the music is honestly a little old now! The Nicki Minaj songs for some reason get me really pumped up – I love Whip It and Starships. Andy Grammer is also on my love list right now!
Obviously Call Me Maybe is too, duh.
What I really wanna know is what you all are listening to? I still feel my playlist is semi-boring. Any good tunes for running? Pump up songs? I think I’ll be doing some interval runs this week and having some good fast songs would help!
