Pudding Protein Smoothie w/ a side of Survey!

Hi everyone! Yesterday got a little crazy busy and mostly I was exhausted. I actually had half a day off (haha woo, a half!) and that time was spent running errands…don’t you love those days? I found out just how much working all weekend and staying up late watching the olympics is doing to me… ย I don’t understand why they put the good stuff on SO late..like 10 and 11 o’clock?? what’s up with that NBC??

Anyways- The other day I posted on making a protein smoothie with some pudding so I figured I would tell you the recipe..even tho it was super easy!

  • 5 oz milk of choice (I used coconut!)
  • 1 cup of Dark Chocolate Sugar Free Pudding
  • I scoop Vanilla Protein Powder of Choice (I used the GNC Soy 95)
  • 3-4 Ice Cubes

Simple as that! The pudding makes the texture and thickness of this shake is amazing! I swear it was like having a milkshake! ๐Ÿ™‚ and i loveeeee them, so a guilt free version! Also I haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it would be awesome with any other flavors of pudding. Butterscotch would hit the spot sometimes FO SHO.

I have been having these little babies after my workouts- which surprisingly enough have been in the gym lately! I know what- me in an actually gym- weird. But I have been staying after my work which is conveniently at the gym to do some workouts because I’ve been busy enough all day long I haven’t had any other time! I haven’t been on my bike since Sunday. Miss my babe!


I also did aย STELLAR Tabata workoutย on Monday full of Front Raises, Speed Skater (my glutes still hurt), Front kicks, jack knives…etc. So. SORE.

1. What is your favourite thing about a community youโ€™re a part of (virtual or real life community) Within the Blogging, Sweat Pink, and FitFluential Community I’m pretty excited about how much everyone supports each other and learning all these new things! It’s really fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

2. When did you start your hobby (whatever your blog is about) and why? What made you start? I’ve been “moving” since forever, but particularly cycling and fitness classes started within the last year.ย 

3. What is your absolute favourite thing to do? Um…eat? maybe ride my bike- but mostly eat. I love good food.ย 
4. Describe your ideal day! Ahhh- sleep in, get up and ride my bike, then park my butt on the beach with a good book ๐Ÿ™‚ add in some good wine and food and I’m set…oh wait that sounds like my vacation I just had..yes my idea day right there!
5. What is your dream job? Dream job- hmm.. probably a college field hockey coaching position! I know that sounds lame but I think it would be fun.ย 
6. Tell me about a time you didnโ€™t think you could finish something โ€“ how did you push through? Ahhh well there was this one time where I did a duathlon on extremely cold and windy day..it was the toughest course (not that I’ve been on many) ever..very hilly and the wind came in so many directions you couldn’t tell…I seriously wanted to quit as a I cam down one of the hills and looking up the next…but I didn’t. I was however so relieved to be done.ย 
7. Do you like caffeinated beverages? Whatโ€™s your favorite? I loveee coffee..and I’m not going to lie I do drink a little diet soda- but trying to cut back a lot!
8. Proudest achievement to date? Hmm..graduating? But also playing hockey in college all 4 years maybe. Big time commitment with school.
9. Would you rather read a book, write, watch television or go outside? read a book, outside ๐Ÿ™‚
10. Favourite candy? STARBURST. Like a deep love. the normal kinda AND the jelly beans!
11. One thing you canโ€™t do for the life of you (for me its do my own hair in anything but a ponytail) but wish you could? Play the Piano!!

New Ambassador…and a BULU Box Giveaway!

Hi everyone..as you may see from the title I have a little announcement!

This particular flavor said it was a mix of peaches and honey….I LOVED it! This is such an awesome thing to put in the back of my jersey on my longer bike rides! It’s sort of just like Gu kinda…not as thick, but I found it awesome! Perfect for those of you who run half marathons and marathons too!

I haven’t tried the other products yet- but I think they all sound great. I can’t wait to try the Night Food which is apparently supposed to help you sleep better! hmmm.

Overall I think that the Bulu Box is such a great idea! it’s so fun to be able to try things that you might not otherwise even try because you didn’t know it was out there.

Hot, Hot, HOT! and PB Crave Giveaway!

Holy smokes…literally. It’s quite the scorcher at my house today. It feels like 95 today! I’m not complaining at all…I’d take this over being cold any day ๐Ÿ™‚

This morning I did a 10 mile bike ride with my Dad and we followed that up with a one mile loop. The bike ride actually felt great cause our route is mostly in the shade and the breeze was nice.

However, getting off the bike and running felt like a 20 degree temperature increase! After this I did an Bikini Abs and Bikini Booty from my Tone It Up DVD. It was quite a workout- my quads were KILLING me by the end..just the way I like it ๐Ÿ˜‰

Now to the GOOD STUFF! I have an AWESOME giveaway for you! I am a lover of all things peanut butter! I can eat it with a spoon and thats it! The great people from PB Crave graciously sent me a sample pack of all of their amazing flavored peanut butters. As soon as I got theses I ripped open the lids and got a spoon out ๐Ÿ™‚ There’s little I love more than peanutbutter- and now FLAVORED!? that I cannot argue with.

Razzle Dazzle– my favorite of all of them! I love raspberry anything and this mix of raspberry and white chocolate was delicious!

Coco Bananas– I’m not much of a Banana person, but Drew is and he said it was delicious! so if you love Bananas- you will love it!

Choco Choco was a delicious mix of PB and Chocolate…loved it!

Cookie Nookie– the name alone let me know I would love this one! I loveeee cookie dough and this had the perfect hint of chocolate chip cookie dough! This was probably my 2nd favorite.

Spruced Up Plus Giveaway!

So let’s talk Health and Fitness for a little bit..i feel like that hasn’t been done much around these parts. Here’s what’s up recently.

I bought the Tone It Up Nutrition plan. It was expensive- but I did it best part is that when they update it- you get it too! I needed something new and something to help me try some different healthy foods that most importantly keep me eating clean. Now i’ve been doing well since I’ve really started to make an effort (but it’s so damn hard sometimes isn’t it??) to eat well and take care of myself but my meals were starting to be seriously boring and ย I have heard such fantastic things about their diet plan. I just needed a little motivation and change up in my life. I’m LOVING it so far! I can tell such a difference when I am making sure I am eating right all day! They even tell you tips on if you are going to “cheat” how to do it right ๐Ÿ™‚ cause yes- we know we all slip up sometimes!

Fitness wise their main points are to make sure that you are getting up and working out in the morning to wake yourself up, and feel good the rest of the day. This is what they call the booty call! I’ve been doing it for the past few days and it has also been a great way to start my day! It doesn’t even have to be anything to crazy or hard..just a brisk walk if need be! Also you all know I love their DVD and it can also be a great thing to start the day with. Now sometimes it’s not possible when I work at 7am (i am so not getting up at 5am haha..i just don’t!) but I do it any time that I can. I’ve even been waking up to RUN!

I’m pretty excited about having their resources because I just needed a change with my eating! They also have an online community for members that can help when you are stuck! ย Oh and, let me tell you the recipes are AWESOME (even for me , someone who doesn’t LOVE some veggies) I will definitely let all of you know how having this motivation and resource goes for me.


Now to the good stuff: Okay, and cause this week is so great and I appreciate ALL of my readers so much, I am giving away an AWESOME BIC band which I love so much! I can be found sporting BIC bands 90% of the time cause of my fine hair and crazy fly-a-ways! They have a velvet backing so they seriously DO NOT SLIP. i’ve never found ANY that stayed in my head until these- it was love at first site!
